How do you describe yourself?

Happy, energetic, friendly, down to earth.

What do you want to be when you’re still a child? Why?

I wanted to be a pilot because I love to learn about different places as well as visiting a new place

What makes you work in SRHR field? Why?

It helps me to be confident and make a good choice. Furthermore, it helps other people as I love community and charity work

How long have you been working within your MA – RFHAF?

Since 2009

What is your role within your MA – RFHAF?

I am the national youth representative as well as vice president for my youths and also as treasurer at board level

What is the ideal world for young people’s SRHR that you imagine and could be realistic within your country?

To reduce the rate of teenage pregnancy

What is the biggest challenge in working with your MA?

To reach out young people

What is the most memorable moment during working with your MA?

To become a national youth representative and represent the young people in my MA. It was also when people look up to me in my community and I feel free to discuss issues.

What specific issue in young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights that interest you most? Why?

Safe sex and teenage pregnancy. Young people are moving toward being more sexually active and it is potentially led to increase the number of sexually transmitted infection and HIV as well as teenage pregnancy if not supported by comprehensive information and access to health care services.
