What makes you work in SRHR field? Why?
I am studying law at university. So I am aware of human rights and how they positively influence the legislation process. I work in this field to protect and promote sexual rights and reproductive health as a part of human rights
How long have you been working within your MA – VINAFPA?
More than two years; three summers and one full year
What is your role within your MA – VINAFPA?
I am the volunteer of my member associations. My main tasks are coordinating with DP Hanoi and the students union (my two former NGOs) to promote my MA. I also work with documents (writing the contents for my MA’s publication)
What is the ideal world for young people’s SRHR that you imagine and could be realistic within your country?
The world where we take sexual rights for granted; access to comprehensive sexuality education. I believe it could be realistic one day in Vietnam
What is the biggest challenge in working with your MA?
Language and generation gap
What is the most memorable moment during working with your MA?
When I design the first draw up of the contents of my MA’s publication
What specific issue in young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights that interest you most? Why?
I am interested in studying how sexual organs work to understand why people have sexual desire. Also, by studying this we can know how to have a safer sex
